Clayton D. Montgomery

Clayton D. Montgomery, 73, Corydon, died Monday, June 23, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Bael, Mich., born Nov. 16, 1929, he was the son of the late David and Leatta Studaker Montgomery.
He was a former painter for Rockwell International in California, a former Corydon police officer, and an Army and Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, the former Fern Binkley; two sons, Harold Egerton of Holly, Mich., and Michael P. Greco of South Gate, Calif.; two daughters, Leonna Sumrel and Karen McDonnell, both of Bloomington, Calif.; a brother, Lee D. Montgomery of Pleasant Hill, Mich.; two sisters, Anne Fishell of Sterling Heights, Mich., and Donna Blazo of Royal Oak, Mich.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside service: Wednesday, June 25, at 2 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery near Corydon.
Arrangements: Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society.
