A co-ed volleyball tournament will be held June 20 at 6 p.m. at Corydon Central High School to help sponsor Lady Panther Krista Wolfe as she represents this area in a volleyball tournament in Hawaii.
The cost is $30 per team, which must be made up of more girls than guys.
T-shirts will be awarded to the winning team.
There will also be a silent auction with two tickets to Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari, two tickets to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, restaurant certificates, jewelry, tools and a variety of other items. Food will be served.
To register a team or for more information, call 968-3684.
The deadline for team entries is tomorrow evening, June 19.
Wolfe has been selected by TourneySport USA to represent the community, state and region at a national volleyball tournament in Hawaii for 10 days this summer.
Funds raised from the tournament will go towards airfare from Los Angeles, ground transportation, meals, lodging and all tournament expenses for the 5-10 setter.
