William P. Lush

William P. Lush, 77, Lanesville, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at Lincoln Hills Nursing Home in New Albany.
A native of Grayson County, Ky., born April 24, 1926, he was the son of the late Elmer and Elsie Higdon Lush.
He was a retired employee of Hobart Manufacturing Co. in Louisville, a Navy veteran of the Korean War and World War II, and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville.
Survivors include a son, Carl T. Lush of Lanesville; three brothers, Damon, Raymond and Elmer Lush, all of Louisville; a sister, Eunice Milner of Litchfield, Ky.; and two grandchildren.
A wake was Friday, May 16, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Funeral: Saturday, May 17, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville with burial in the church cemetery.
Officiant: Father Harold Ripperger.
