Barbara Hamlin

Barbara Jean Hamlin, 77, New Albany, died Wednesday morning, May 7, at Rolling Hills Nursing Center in New Albany.
A native of Elizabeth, born July 5, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Dora Belle Glaze Ward.
She was an inspector at ICI in Charlestown and a member of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church in Laconia. She taught a Bible study at Rolling Hills while she was a resident there.
Survivors include four sons, Mark Marion of Elizabeth, James Hamlin of Henryville, Terry Hamlin of Aiken, S.C., and Michael Hamlin of Eustis, Fla; two daughters, Rhonda Clark of Crandall and Cindy Hamlin of Dodge City, Kan.; a sister, Mary Anderson of Laconia; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, May 10, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth.
Officiant: Dr. Frank Hainer.
Pallbearers: Terry and Michael Hamlin, Andy Williamson, Sherley Johnson, John Sampson and James Marion.
