Phillip Herman Bundren, 56, Henryville, died Monday, April 28, in Elizabeth.
A native of Texas, born Oct. 8, 1946, he was the son of the late Herman and Mary Greene Bundren.
He was an Army veteran, a retired employee of the Ford Motor Co., and a member of Mount Moriah Advent Christian Church, Union UAW Local 862, the VFW in Scottsburg, American Legion Bonnie Sloan post in New Albany and the American Rifle Association.
Survivors include his wife, the former Brenda Walker of Memphis, Ind.; three sons, Steven Bundren of Henryville, David Bundren of Louisville and Christopher Bundren of Jeffersonville; three daughters, Deedra Bardle of Jeffersonville, Teresa Bowden of Stamping Ground, Ky., and Elaine Derringer of Henryville; a brother, Richard Bundren of Corydon; a sister, Carolyn Woodlock of Corydon, and seven grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, April 30, from 4 p.m. (slow time) until the funeral at R.D. Pyke Funeral Service in Henryville.
Funeral: Wednesday, April 30, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Officiant: The Rev. Jim Bowyer.
The body will be cremated.
Arrangements: Pyke Crematorium in Henryville.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Heart Association.
