Clara M. Mossler

Clara M. Shireman Mossler, 86, Sebring, Ohio, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, in the emergency room at Akron (Ohio) General Medical Center as a result of an automobile accident on U.S. Rt. 62 in Butler Township, Columbiana County, Ohio.
A native of Corydon, born Sept. 1, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo and Cora Patterson Shireman.
She was a homemaker and member of Northampton United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school for 40 years. She was a graduate of Corydon High School and a member of the Welcoming Committee of the Lakeshore residents at Copeland Oaks, where she resided.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice A. Mossler, a sister, Alliene Bottorff, and a brother, Stoy Shireman.
Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl E. Kelly of Salem, Ohio, and Kristen M. Figg of Leetonia, Ohio; two sisters, Bonnie Windell and Dorothy Booth, both of Corydon; five grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral: Sunday Sunday, April 6, at Salem First United Methodist Church. Her son-in-law, the Rev. Mac Kelley, officiated. Burial was Monday, April 7, at Northampton Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen Funeral Home in Salem, Ohio, handled the arrangements.
