Leo (Curly) Stumler, 83, Floyds Knobs, died Friday, April 11, at his home.
He was a native of Starlight, a retired farmer, an Army veteran of World War II, having been a prisoner of war for more than 27 months in Germany, and a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Starlight.
Survivors include a brother, Lester Stumler of Starlight; and two sisters, Martha King of New Albany and Marcella Huber of Starlight.
A prayer service was held Sunday, April 13.
Funeral: Tuesday, April 15, at St. John’s Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Arrangements: Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Red Cross.
