Goldie L. Land

Goldie L. Land, 97, Bloomington, died Friday, April 4, at Bloomington Hospital.
A native of West Fork, born Jan. 31, 1906, she was the daughter of the late William and Flora Roach Goldman.
She was a member of West Fork Christian Church and a retired custodian at Bloomington South High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aurthur R. Land, a son, Wallace Land, four brothers, Floyd, Theodore, Nolan and Lawrence Goldman, and three sisters, Orrpha Gibson, Opal Mason and Lydia Schrader.
Survivors include a son, Joseph Land of Switz City; two daughters, Maxine Lung and Hettie Luff, both of Bloomington; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, April 7, at Day Funeral Home in Bloomington with burial in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Officiant: The Rev. Raymond New.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Diabetes Association or to charity of choice.
