Charles L. Farnsley

Charles L. Farnsley, 82, Georgetown, died Thursday morning, March 20, at his home.
A native of Floyd County, born June 13, 1920, he was the son of the late Chester and Charity Wheeler Farnsley.
He was an Air Force veteran of World War II, a retired furnace operator at Reynolds Aluminum in Louisville, a former co-owner of Kentucky Flying Service in Louisville, and a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, the former Merle Miller; a son, Richard Lewis Farnsley of Floyds Knobs; three daughters, Sharon Lynn Hieb of Jeffersonville, Marsha Kaye Tinsley of Georgetown and Terry Roxanne Crum of Louisville; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral: Sunday, March 23, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown with burial in Wolfe Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Judith Purvis.
Pallbearers: Adam Farnsley, Michael Jackson, Chad Tinsley, Tim Eddleman, Dennis Hieb and Edgar Linares.
