Geneva Forbes

Geneva Forbes, 85, Marengo, died Sunday, March 16, at Harrison Health and Rehabilitation Centre in Corydon.
A native of Rockcastle County, Ky., born Dec. 16, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Alice Hale Kendrick.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Forbes, a daughter, Hazel Terneus, four sisters and a brother.
Survivors include seven sons, Clayton Forbes of Paoli, Kenneth Forbes of English, James Forbes of North Vernon, Bobby Forbes of Eckerty, Alfred Forbes of Hardinsburg, Dennis Forbes of Sulphur and Davy Forbes of Terre Haute; three daughters, Juanita Cox of Marengo, Mary Alice Brown of English and Wanda Melton of Seymour; a brother, Kenneth Kendrick of Berea, Ky.; 27 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, March 19, after 9 a.m. at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo.
Funeral: Wednesday, March 19, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Bloom-Riddle Cemetery.
