Beulah F. Beanblossom
Beulah F. Cotner Beanblossom, 81, New Albany, died Sunday, March 16, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of New Amsterdam, born March 17, 1921, she was the daughter of the late William D. and Mary Shireman Cotner.
She was a member of VFW Hobart Beach Post 1693 Ladies Auxiliary in New Albany and Royal Neighbors of America.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne H. Beanblossom.
Survivors include a daughter, Rita Marking of New Albany; two brothers, Clayton Cotner of Mauckport and Herman Cotner of Corydon; three sisters, Doris Singleton of Central, who cared for her, and Virgie Tolley and Elnora Boze, both of Chillicothe, Ill.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, March 20, after 10 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Thursday, March 20, at 2 p.m. at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church near Mauckport with burial in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Travis Marking, Scott Bostock, Leslie Cotner, Gary McGiboney, Lowell Rhodes, and David and Paul Tolley.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Wesley Chapel Cemetery Fund.
