Martha E. Rosso

Martha E. Rosso, 81, Upper Darby, Pa., formerly of Lanesville, died Saturday, March 8, at her home.
A native of Clarksville, she was the daughter of the late William and Cora Pamplin.
She was a secretary for the Sociology Dept. of the University of Pennsylvania for 25 years before retiring in the early 1990s, and a former employee for Hon. A. Leon Higginbotham, a federal judge in Philadelphia.
She was a longtime member and recording secretary for Dickens Fellowship and the editor of the “Buzfuz,” a monthly newsletter at the fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond D. Rosso.
Survivors include three sons, Douglas Rosso of Norwood, Pa., David Rosso of Drexel Hill, Pa., and Paul Rosso of Sewell, N.J.; a brother, Charles Pamplin of New Albany; a sister, Wilma Ell of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, March 12, after 9:30 a.m. at Cavanagh Family Funeral Home in Norwood.
Funeral: Wednesday, March 12, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill.
