Mildred Cardwell Baker, 75, Corydon, formerly of Frankfort, Ky., died Saturday, March 1, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Franklin County, she was a retired employee of Phillip Morris Inc., a member of Potato Run United Methodist Church, and a fire monitor at Hillview Complex in Corydon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodman Baker, and her parents, Ernest E. and Effie G. Riddle Cardwell.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas Baker of Corydon and William Darrell Baker of Frankfort; three daughters, Diana Herndon of Shelbyville, Faye Marshall of Corydon and Inez Murphy of Louisville; a brother, Forrest Cardwell of Frankfort; a sister, Mary Agnes Brown of Harriman, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Wednesday, March 5, at 2 p.m. at LeCompte-Johnson-Taylor Funeral Home in Frankfort with burial in Beechridge Cemetery. Officiants: Brother Raymond Brown and the Rev. Larry Hensley.
Pallbearers: Rodman Wayne Baker, Larry Warren, Bill Browning, James Fulton, Jason Barber and Eli Boice.
