Darwin E. Decker

Darwin E. Decker, 62, Palmyra, died Monday, Feb. 24, at 1:33 p.m. at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Kings Mountain, Ky., born Jan. 23, 1941, he was the son of the late Opal and Ovaline Harmon Decker.
He was an employee of Amatrol in Jeffersonville, an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of American Legion and VFW.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Opal Decker.
Survivors include his wife, the former Donna Paris; a son, Scot Decker of Bossier City. La.; two daughters, Tammy and Linda Decker, both of Bossier City; a stepson, Stephen McGuire of Palmyra; two brothers, Audie Decker of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Glen Decker; two sisters, Juanita Mitchell of Covington, Ky., and Alana Harbin of Louisville; and two grandchildren.
The body will be cremated.
A military service was performed Friday, Feb. 28, at Weathers Funeral Home in Salem.
