Florian Marsh Sr.

Florian L. Marsh Sr., 75, Elizabeth, died Sunday evening, Feb. 23, at his home.
A native of Louisville, born Dec. 31, 1927, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Josephine Higgins Marsh.
He was a retired production worker for General Electric Co. in Louisville, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville, and VFW 3281 and the Redmen Club, both in New Albany.
Survivors include his wife, the former Minnie F. Hacker; two sons, Florian Marsh Jr. of Elizabeth and Maynard Marsh of New Albany; four sisters, Amy Douglas of Clarksville, Rosemary Padgett of Elizabeth, Mary Sutherland of New Albany and Ginny Sheehan of Pekin; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Feb. 26, after 8 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Officiant: Father Harold Ripperger.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Hospice of Southern Indiana.
