Thelma L. Anson

Thelma L. Anson, 73, died Saturday, Feb. 15, at 9:33 a.m. at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
A native of Bacon, born Jan. 16, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Van O. and Mae Belle Carmichael Patton.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Tell City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Anson Jr., and two sisters, Bernice Morris and Pauline Tyree.
Survivors include four sons, Paul O. Anson of Newman, Ga., Kenneth Anson of Pleasant Grove, Utah, Robert Anson of Tell City and Lonnie Anson of Folkston, Ga.; a brother, Newton (Buddy) Patton of Frankston, Texas; three sisters, Ester Armstrong of Chandler, Texas, Geneva Wells of Floyds Knobs and Mary Ann Pam of Princeton; two daughters, Tammie Pope of Tell City and Juanita Brumbley of Elton, Md.; 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Huber Funeral Home in Cannelton.
Funeral: Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with burial in Greenwood Cemetery at Tell City.
Officiant: President Greg Zellers.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Diabetes Foundation.
