James F. Gatrost

James F. Gatrost, 60, Georgetown, died Thursday, Feb. 6, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.
A native of Vine Grove, Ky., born Dec. 26, 1942, he was the son of the late Floyd A. and Dorothy Peterson Gatrost.
He was a former employee of the U.S. Census Bureau in Jeffersonville and a member of Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Floyds Knobs.
Survivors include two sons, Patrick A. Gatrost of Borden and James Branham of Corydon; three daughters, Sarah J. Gatrost of Georgetown, Kimberly Mayfield of New Salisbury and Mellisa S. Stinson of Louisville; a brother, Douglas Gatrost of Corydon; a sister, Janice Swafford of Greenville; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, Feb. 8, at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
Officiant: Elder Charles Bickel.
Pallbearers: Dustin Gatrost, Eric Epperson, David Deming, Allen Swafford, Steve Alton and Adam Wolfe.
