Sandra G. Rue

Sandra G. Rue, 55, Lanesville, died at 6 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27, at her home.
A native of New Albany, born Nov. 10, 1947, she was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lanesville.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Rue; three daughters, Lisa Ann Striegel of Corydon, Angela Sue Adkins of New Salisbury and Karen Lynn Lopp of Louisville; her mother and stepfather, Geneva and George Lofton of Lanesville; her father and stepmother, Orlan E. and Emmajean Huber of Georgetown; two sisters, Connie Sue Burgin of New Albany and Sharon Lynn Huber of Lanesville; and six grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 29, from noon to 9 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 30, after 8 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Funeral: Thursday, Jan. 30, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers: Nick Adkins, David Burgin, Mike Heintz, Bob Zipp, Bill Huber, Roger Schooler and Bill Nichols.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the family in care of the funeral home.
