Hazel Wiseman

Hazel L. Crecelius Wiseman, 83, Indianapolis, died Thursday, Jan. 16, at Forest Creek Village in Indianapolis.
A native of Corydon, born Jan. 31, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Strouse and Minnie Rainbolt Crecelius.
She was a former co-proprietor of the old Wiseman Market, Sunshine Gardens and a member of Thompson’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Glenn Wiseman.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne Wiseman of Aurora, Colo., and Larry Wiseman of Clyde, Texas; five sisters, Rosie Cunningham of New Salisbury, Fern McKim and Alma Harbeson, both of Corydon, Goldie Bowles of Bloomington and Ruby Davis of Jeffersonville; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, Jan. 24, from 1 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 25, after 8 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Saturday, Jan. 25, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Thompson’s Chapel Cemetery in Depauw.
