Edward S. Condra Sr.

Edward S. Condra Sr., 83, Georgetown, died Saturday, Jan. 18, at his home.
A native of Great Bend, Kan., born Feb. 22, 1919, he was the son of the late William and Rosa Mosier Condra.
After 24 years in the Army he retired as a sergeant 1st class.
Survivors include nine sons, Edward S. Jr. and Brian D. Condra, both of New Albany, William F. Condra of Wilton, N.H., James R. Condra of Tellico Village, Tenn., Thomas M. Condra of Georgetown, Gary G. and Donald D. Condra, both of Pompano Beach, Fla., Randy A. Condra of Columbus, Ohio, and Bruce E. Condra of Sparta, Tenn.; two daughters, Janet G. Cole of New Albany and Sandra D. Goodwin of Tunnel Hill, Ga.; a brother, Raymond Hanson of Minnetonka, Minn.; a sister, Roberta Dennis of Anoka, Minn; 26 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 22, from noon to 8 p.m. at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home on Market Street in New Albany.
Funeral: Thursday, Jan. 23, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Graceland Memorial Park.
