Tessa S. Phillips

Tessa Shannon Phillips, 33, Mt. Washington, Ky., formerly of Corydon, died Friday, Jan. 10, at her home.
She was an employee of University of Louisville, a Navy veteran and a member of Victory Baptist Church in New Salisbury. She attended First Baptist Church in Mt. Washington.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Phillips; three sons, Derl E., Dirk A. and Thomas C. Phillips, all of Mt. Washington; her parents, Derl and Karen Hardesty of Mt. Washington; three brothers, Kenneth A. Straughn of Belton, Mo., Jim Hardesty of Fern Creek, Ky., and Cory Straughn of Mt. Washington; and a sister, Michelle Ann Chowning of Louisville.
Funeral: Monday, Jan. 13, at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mt. Washington with burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery.
