Frank Allen, 79, Corydon, died Sunday, Jan. 12, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Neafus, Ky., born Dec. 16, 1923, he was the son of the late Roma E. Sr., and Leora Gary Allen.
He was a retired carpenter, an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of VFW Post 2950 and Calvary Baptist Church, both in Corydon.
Survivors include his wife, the former Debbie Judd; four sons, Victor R. Allen of Hilton Head, S.C., Michael R. Allen of Cartersville, Ga., Tony A. Allen of Smyrna, Ga., and Ernest Williams of Virginia Beach, Va.; three daughters, Susan Cheatham of New Albany, Aliceha Stephenson of Corydon and Brandy Wayne Allen of Salem; two brothers, Cecil Allen of Louisville and Jerry Allen of New Albany; a sister, Maria Allen of Holly Hill, Fla.; 28 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 15, after 10 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in El Bethel Cemetery.
