Warren A. Benbow, 77, Elizabeth, died early Thursday, Dec. 19, at his home.
A native of Montgomery, Ala., he was a farmer and retired construction worker for 53 years in Alaska, and a Marine veteran of World War II.
Survivors include six sons, Andrew Benbow of Great Falls, Mont., Daniel Benbow of California, Durward Benbow of Pierre, S.D., and Randy and Kendal Benbow, both of Corydon; two daughters, Lynne Brown of Elizabeth and Diane Dorsey of New Salisbury; his mother, Mary Benbow of Delano, Calif.; a brother, Marion Benbow of Sacrament, Calif.; three sisters, Katherine Carver and Grace Salvestrin, both of Delano, and Jean Ingram of Mario Bay, Calif.; 26 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service: Sunday, Dec. 22, at New Middletown United Methodist Church. Arrangements: Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Military rites were performed.
