Donald L. Bryant

Donald L. Bryant, 74, New Albany, died Thursday, Dec. 12, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of New Albany, born March 3, 1928, he was the son of the late Elmer and Katie Steepleton Bryant, formerly of Laconia.
He was a retired employee of American Standard in Louisville, a Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of Charlestown Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, the former Lizzie L. McMahan; two sons, Lonnie Bryant of New Albany and Jerry Bryant of Memphis; a brother, Melvin Bryant of Denver; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, Dec. 14, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Smith Campground Cemetery near Laconia.
Military rites: Performed at the gravesite.
Pallbearers: Clint, Joshua and Gabriel Bryant, Jimmy and Donald Lackey and Jeremy Bryant.
