Charlotte L. Shipman

Charlotte L. Shipman, 57, Corydon, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, born Oct. 31, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lucille Fike.
She was a homemaker and a member of VFW Auxillary Post 2950 in Corydon.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Walter Shipman (his dad died this week also; see obituary for Gerald Thompson); a son, Eric Shipman of Corydon; a daughter, Mindy Spurling of Marengo; four sisters, Marilyn Gibbs, Betty Lou and Emma Fike, all of Columbus, and Judy Hoon of Inglewood, Fla.; two brothers, Rick and James Fike, both of Columbus, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, Dec. 14, at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo with burial in Orchard Knob Cemetery at Alton.
