Ethan (Cotton) Singleton, 80, Georgetown, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 12, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
He was a native of Knott County, Ky., a retired employee of General Electric Co. in Louisville, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Silver Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, the former Grace Cornett; a daughter, Joan Miller of Floyds Knobs; two brothers, Vesper and R.B. Singleton, both of Hindman, Ky.; a sister, Jewell Richie of Georgetown; and four grandchildren.
Funeral: Thursday, Nov. 14, at Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany with burial in Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
