Regina L. Philpot
Regina L. Runner Philpot, 60, Ingalls, died Monday, Oct. 28, at 2:40 p.m. at her home.
A native of Louisville, born Feb. 26, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Frances Gardner Runner.
She attended Ball State University, and was employed in Army recruiting in Louisville during the Vietnam War and was a town clerk in Ingalls for more than seven years. She was a former president of the Ingalls Town Council, a Republican precinct committee chairperson for Green Township and a member of Ingalls Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, James L. Philpot, formerly of Corydon; two sons, Rob Philpot of Jeffersonville and John E. Philpot of Ingalls; a daughter, Carrie F. Finkbiner of Ingalls; a sister, Betty Sue Best of Cincinnati; and seven grandchildren
Funeral: Friday, Nov. 1, at Ronald L. Seal Funeral Home in Fortville with burial in Gravel Lawn Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Edward Miles.
