Marvin H. Pogue Jr.
Marvin Hugh Pogue Jr., 45, Carrollton, Ala., died Oct. 31, at his home.
A native of Columbus, Miss., born Dec. 5, 1956, he was the son of Marvin Hugh Sr. and Murlene Garrison Pogue.
He was a retired lineman for the telephone company in Alabama, and a member of Church of Christ in Mt. Tabor.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pam Pogue, and his grandparents, Wyman Garrison and Mr. and Mrs. J.Z. Pogue.
Survivors besides his parents include his wife, Barbara Pogue; a son, Jonathan Pogue of Carrollton; three stepchildren, Amy Youravich of Sellersburg and Kimberly Minton and Ryan McRae, both of Ramsey; a brother, Daryl Pogue of Carrollton; and his grandmother, Pauline Garrison of Columbus.
Funeral: Saturday, Nov. 2, at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Alabama with burial in the church cemetery.
Officiants: The Revs. Ricky Jackson and Max Johnson.
