Gary L. Greer

Gary L. Greer, 54, Corydon, died Friday, Nov. 1, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Corydon, born Sept. 11, 1948, he was the son of Betty Minter Greer of Corydon and the late Arville Greer.
He was an Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post 40 and Post 8 and VFW Hobart Beach Post 1693, all in New Albany, and the Honor Guard for former President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s funeral.
Survivors besides his mother include a daughter, Terri Lynn Fletcher of Houston; two brothers, Larry Greer of Corydon and Paul Greer of New Middletown; four sisters, LaVern Bliss, Carolyn Smith, Faye Wilburn and Lois Fessel, all of Corydon; three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, Nov. 4, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Bethany Cemetery in New Middletown.
Officiants: The Rev. John Stone and the Rev. Paul Greer.
Pallbearers: Joseph Bliss Jr., David Smith, Adam Arnold, Matt Wilburn, Robert Fessel and Tyler Greer.
