Charles E. Hunter, 83, Corydon, died at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, at his home.
He was a retired die setter at Hart Products in New Albany and a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church near Corydon.
Survivors include his wife, the former Elsie Richert; four sons, William E. Hunter of Elizabeth, Randy Hunter of New Middletown, and Jerry and Terry J. Hunter, both of Corydon; a daughter, Barbara Riley of Corydon; a brother, Russel H. Hunter of Whiteland; four sisters, Ruth Steiner of New Middletown, Bonnie Wright and Imogene Clements, both of Laconia, and Mildred Payton of Corydon; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, Oct. 31, from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 2, after 8 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Nov. 2, at the funeral home with burial in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Jerry Sillings, Mike, David, John and Larry Riley, and Scott Gunther.
