Leo W. Taylor

Leo W. Taylor, 87, Corydon, died at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Harrison County, born June 9, 1915, he was the son of the late Stephen A. and Dorothy Cline Taylor.
He was a retired farmer, a retired employee of Toler’s Hatchery, Kirkham Sawmill, EI DuPont and the Indiana State Highway Dept., and a retired manager for McClintock Farms in Corydon. He did custom trucking and was a former school bus driver for the Harrison County schools.
He was a Democrat precinct committee member for 20 years, and a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Corydon.
He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Taylor, a half brother, Robert A. (Bob) Taylor, a half sister, Bonnie Lasley, and two granddaughters.
Survivors include his wife, the former Fern Cunningham; two sons, Dallas and Charles Taylor, both of Corydon; a daughter, Carol Gaddie of Panama City, Fla.; three half sisters, Alma Murphy and Doris Balmer, both of New Albany, and Alice Martin of Greenville; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, Sept. 28, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Ken Vogler.
