Amelia J. Beals

Amelia Jane Beals, 89, Corydon, formerly of Leavenworth, died Sunday, Sept. 8, at Hospice and Palliative Care in Louisville.
She retired from Whitley Poultry and was a member of Corydon Presbyterian Church and VFW Auxiliary in Corydon.
Survivors include two sons, Charles and Earl Adamson, both of Corydon; two daughters, Gretchen Sturgill and Lois Hayes, both of Corydon; a brother, George Hannel of Indianapolis; two sisters, Catherine Raines and Clara Lindsey, both of Indianapolis; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Sept. 11, after 8 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Leavenworth Memorial Cemetery.
