Brian J. Missi

Brian J. Missi, 15, Borden, died Monday, July 8, at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville.
He was a freshman at Floyd Central High School, where he played on the football team; and a member of Floyds Knobs Community Club Baseball League and St. Mary’s New Albany Catholic Church.
Survivors include his parents, Marianne and Danny Gatlin of Borden and Rick J. Sr. and Glenda Missi of Jeffersonville; a brother, Rick J. Missi Jr. of Louisville; three sisters, Amanda Bartel of Floyds Knobs, Susie Missi of New Albany and Teresa Cummings of Clarksville; three stepbrothers, Danny J. Gatlin of Pekin, Aaron Gatlin of Borden and Stephen Gatlin of Clarksville; three stepsisters, Tatum Minton of New Albany, Tobin Knight of Jeffersonville and Dana May of Greenville; and his grandparents, Don and Lucille Missi and Bea Becht, all of Floyds Knobs, Joe and Bonnie Traughber of Greenville, Bob Barksdale of New Albany and Mary Frances Bolin of Louisville.
Visitation: Wednesday, July 10, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany.
Funeral: Thursday, July 11, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s New Albany Catholic Church with burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
