E. Elizabeth Rodenbarger

E. Elizabeth Rodenbarger, 81, Colburn, died at 10:53 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center-Lafayette, where she had been a patient since May 17.
A native of Corydon, born Aug. 19, 1920, she was the daughter of the late James and Maude Briles Byrne. She was a 1939 graduate of Corydon High School, was self-employed, doing business and private residential house cleaning for several years and attended the Colburn United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Thomas Rodenbarger; a son, James; a brother, a sister, and three granddaughters.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Helen Killian and Virginia Riley, both of Delphi, and Judith Grooms of Plainfield; two sons, William (Bill) Rodenbarger of Delphi and Kenny Rodenbarger of Lafayette; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Saturday, May 25, at Abbott Funeral Home in Delphi with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery in Colburn. Pastor Mike Ermel officiated.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Leukemia Society.
