Clifford L. Owen Jr.

Clifford L. Owen Jr., 63, Georgetown, died at 4:10 p.m. Sunday, May 26, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
He was a retired employee of Engelhard Chemical Co. in Louisville, served seven years in the Air National Guard and was a member of Georgetown Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, the former Martha N. Smith; four daughters, Carole Vanover, Cindy Youtsey and Peggy Wolfe, all of Georgetown, and Debbie Millholland of Mifflin; his mother, Effie Owen of Georgetown; three brothers, Fred Owen of Corydon and Chris and Doug Owen, both of Georgetown; four sisters, Carolyn Bezy, Beverly Kelly and Paula Neff, all of Georgetown, and Barbara Bezy of Floyds Knobs, and 10 grandchildren.
The funeral was Thursday, May 30, at Georgetown Christian Church with burial in Wolfe Cemetery. The Revs. Roy McClain and Roebin Tyler officiated. Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown handled the arrangements.
Pallbearers were Don Vanover Sr., Bob Fogg III, Tom Houser, Tim Bridges, Jim Mitchell, Herb Brightwell, Bud Schneider and Jack Dohoney.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Christian Life Center at Georgetown Christian Church.
