Jesse Timberlake, 72, Palmyra, died Tuesday, May 21, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Corydon, born Sept. 6, 1929, he was the son of the late Jesse and Louise Peckenpaugh Timberlake.
He was a retired employee of Keller Manufacturing Co. and a member of Masonic Lodge 32 in Corydon.
Survivors include his wife, the former Shirley Phillips; four sons, Robert Timberlake of Palm Springs, Calif., Gary Timberlake of Ramsey, Larry Timberlake of Corydon and James Timberlake of Louisville; two stepsons, Harold D. Matlock of Corydon and Terry L. Matlock of Palmyra; a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Hill of Ramsey; a brother, Frank Timberlake of Corydon; three sisters, Judy Harbaugh, Garnelle Melton and Paula Rainbolt, all of Corydon; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Friday, May 24, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Palmyra Cemetery. The Rev. John Abbott Jr. officiated.
