Leo M. Sprigler

Leo M. Sprigler, 87, Floyds Knobs, died Monday, April 8, at his home.
He was a retired employee of the old Hoosier Panel Co. in New Albany, a board member of the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission, a farmer, and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, the former Viola Andres; two sons, Richard Sprigler of New Albany and Melvin Sprigler of Floyds Knobs; a daughter, Sherry Geary of Borden; two sisters, Helen Carpenter and Emma Schroeder, both of Floyds Knobs; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held Thursday, April 11, at at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church. Generations Funeral Home in New Albany handled the arrangements.
