Flossie Puckett

Flossie Elkins Puckett, 93, Corydon, formerly of Louisville, died Monday, March 11, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Louisville, born Nov. 9, 1908, she was the daughter of the late William and Rossa DeSpain Thomas.
She retired as a dietitian at the old St. Joseph and Audubon hospitals in Louisville, and was a member of Eastern Parkway Baptist Church in Louisville.
Survivors include a son, James Puckett of Corydon; two daughters, Dorothy Shearer of Louisville and Helen Durham of Atlanta; 20 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Thursday, March 14, at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home on Oak Street in Louisville with burial in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.
