Ralph E. Stonecipher

Ralph E. Stonecipher, 92, Mt. Zion, Ill., died at 7:10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at Fair Havens Christian Home in Decatur.
A native of Corydon, born July 24, 1909, he was the son of the late John Benjamin and Anna Tindal Stonecipher.
He was a former distribution clerk for the U.S. Postal Service; a Navy veteran of World War II; and a member of VFW Post 2950 in Corydon.
He was preceded in death by a son, Paul Ralph Stonecipher, a brother, Claude Stonecipher, and a great-granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, the former Nellie Emma Cammack; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Sunday, Feb. 17, at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home in Mt. Zion with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
