Edward L. Dearborn

Edward L. Dearborn, 49, Marengo, died at 7:10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of New Albany, born June 30, 1952, he was the son of Harry and Laura Belcher Dearborn of English.
He was an employee of Paramount Plywood in New Albany.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Donna Nance, and a brother, Harry Dearborn III.
Survivors besides his parents include his wife, the former Jackie Whiteside; four daughters, Sonya Miller and Contessa Dearborn, both of English, Elvina Hill of Rockholds, Ky., and Beulah Dearborn of Salem; a stepson, Chad Scarbrough of New Salisbury; two stepdaughters, Holly Grirder of Marengo and Paula Scarbrough of Jasper; a brother, Charles Dearborn of English; two sisters, Nora Irene Meridith and Rebecca Wellman, both of English; and nine grandchildren.
The funeral was Monday, Feb. 11, at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo with burial in Cook-Tucker Cemetery in English.
Pallbearers were Douglas Hill, Raymond Miller, Charles Dearborn, Bill Dearborn, Danny Meridith and Richard Wellman.
