Herbert H. Miller Sr.

Herbert H. Miller Sr., 71, Central, formerly of Louisville, died Monday, Jan. 28, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Frankfort, Ky., born Jan. 12, 1931, he was the son of the late George Thomas and Emmie Troxell Miller
He was a retired truck driver for the old Time D.C. Trucking Co. in Louisville and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, the former Betty Jean Springer; a son, Herbert H. Miller Jr. of Louisville; three daughters, Mary Ann Meredith of Leitchfield, Ky., and Janet Thompson and Debbie Miller, both of Central; a brother, Tim Miller of Arab, Ala.; two sisters, Elizabeth Rogers and Billie Aldridge, both of Frankfort, Ky.; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Friday, Feb. 1, at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville. The Rev. Aaron Gordon officiated.
Pallbearers were Billy Thompson Sr., Anthony, Edward and Michael Self, Jerry Meredith and Mike Miller.
