Katherine Miller

Katherine R. Miller, 90, Elizabeth, died Friday, Dec. 14, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Harrison County, born Sept. 22, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Myrtle McKnight Reader.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church near Elizabeth, and was the oldest Democratic Precinct Committee woman in Harrison County. She was a 4-H and a Girl Scout leader.
Survivors include a son, William F. Miller of Elizabeth; three sisters, Estele Phillips, Helen McKnight and Laverne Reader, all of Elizabeth; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The funeral was Monday, Dec. 17, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with burial in Glenwood Cemetery. Father Louis Manna officiated. Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon handled the arrangements.
Pallbearers were James LaPlant, Sam Mills, Lee Brewer, Walter Miller, Steven Miller and Terry Miller.
