Theodore D. Kerber

Theodore D. Kerber, 50, Marengo, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Philadelphia, Pa., born May 23, 1951, he was the son of the late Charles T. and Jane L. Tait Kerber.
He was employed as a manager, salesman and loan officer for Sunset Homes Inc., and served on the board of directors for the Association of Varied Arts in Crawford County. He was an honored member and trumpeter for the Crawford County Community Band, Bloomington Community Band and Bedford Nostalgia Band.
Survivors include his wife, the former Sue A. Flaitz Jackson; two sons, Theodore Jason and Jarrod Dalton Kerber, both of Depauw; two stepsons, John F. and Shawn A. Jackson, both of English; a stepdaughter, Kimberly D. Jackson King of English; and a brother, Charles H. Kerber of English.
A memorial service will be at a later date. The body was cremated. Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey handled the arrangements.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Crawford County Community Band.
