Lester E. Levell
Lester E. Levell, 83, N. Fort Myers, Fla., died Friday, Oct. 19, at his home.
A native of New Providence, Iowa, born March, 3, 1918, he was the son of Dora Levell, 104, of Jeffersonville, formerly of Milltown, and the late Luther Levell.
He retired in 1982 from Valeron Corp. in Michigan.
He was preceded in death by a son, Lester Eugene Levell, and two brothers, Ernest and Silven Levell.
Survivors besides his mother include his wife of 65 years, the former Sybil Newlin; three daughters, Betty Bolton and Judy Moore, both of Fort Myers, and Linda Augsburger of Michigan; five sisters, Evelyn Baker of N. Fort Myers, Lavone (Bonnie) Poe of New Salisbury, Gerine Brown of Evansville, and Doris Oglesby and Colleen Hughes, both of Jeffersonville; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was Saturday, Oct. 27, at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Mich. Memorial Funeral Home in Fort Myers handled the arrangements.
