Edna Mae Neukam

Edna Mae Neukam, 83, Corydon, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
A native of Harrison County, born July 18, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Harley and Olevia Peper Creech.
She was a member of the Corydon Christian Church and Old Capitol Order of Eastern Star, and was a Red Cross volunteer for 30 years.
Survivors include her husband, Oliver H. Neukam; a son, Kenneth Neukam of Corydon; three daughters, Carolyn Neely of Social Circle, Ga., Janet Brown of Independence, Ky., and Ann Crosier of Corydon; a brother, Russell Creech of Henryville; two sisters, Mary Sramek of Columbus, Wis., and Marjorie Cooper of Jacksonville, Fla.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Saturday, Oct. 20, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Neal Kentch officiated.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Corydon Christian Church.
Pallbearers were Scott Neeley, James Neukam, Greg Brown, Scott Ferriell, Steve Hawkins, Christopher Alveria, Scott Flannigan and Matt Linder.
