John M. Williams

John M. Williams, 54, Georgetown, died Sunday morning, Oct. 14, on arrival to Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Marengo, born Nov. 2, 1946, he was the son of Jack and Fern Roby Williams of Floyds Knobs.
He was a crane operator for Huber Cooper and Smith Construction Co., and an Air Force veteran.
Survivors besides his parents include his wife, the former Cinda Williams; a son, John M. Williams Jr. of Georgetown; a daughter, Michelle Voyles of Greenville; three brothers, Jim Williams of Atlanta, Terry Williams of New Albany and Dean Williams of Floyds Knobs; and a grandchild.
The funeral was Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown with burial in Edwardsville Cemetery. The Rev. James Atz officiated.
Pallbearers were Dean, Terry and James Williams, Terry Williams Jr., Al Williams and Mike Williams Jr.
