Irma R. Reed

Irma Ruth Longbottom Reed, 85, Corydon, died at 4:04 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, at Harrison Health and Rehabilitation Centre in Corydon.
A native of Central, born April 5, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Eddie and Hazel E. Blake Longbottom.
She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and Royal Neighbors of American in Central.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Ray and Jerry R. Reed, both of Corydon; a daughter, Wilma Wilhoite of New Salisbury; a sister, Katherine Hardsaw of Central; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Central Cemetery. The Rev. Stan Mohler officiated.
Pallbearers were Rick Reed, Dennis Zollman, Marty Reed, Michael Zollman, Douglas Zollman, Joshua Reed, Steven Miller and Clark Hardsaw.
The family suggests memorial gifts to her church.
