Donna Spencer

Donna K. Spencer, 54, Branchville, died Sunday, Sept. 2, at her home from complications of cancer.
A native of Tell City, born June 7, 1947, she was the daughter of Agnes Goffinet Ramsey of Tell City and the late Charles L. Ramsey.
She was employed in the accounting department at Jasper Engines, a former employee of The News in Perry County until 1993, a former employee of Connersville Reclaimed Energy and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Tell City. She was a past member of Epsilon Omega Chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa and a 1965 graduate of Tell City High School.
Survivors besides her mother include her husband of 34 years, Michael W. Spencer; a son, Christopher Spencer of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; a daughter, Jennifer Schmitt of Corydon; three sisters, Janet Lehr of Rockport, Charlene Parker of Tell City and Carolyn Huff of Evansville; and two grandchildren.
The funeral was Wednesday, Sept. 5, at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary Cemetery in Tell City. The Rev. Benet Amato officiated.
Huber Funeral Home in Tell City handled the arrangements.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society.
