Sylvia E. Curts

Sylvia E. Curts, 85, Corydon, died Sunday, July 29, at her home.
A native of Harrison County, born April 21, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Edna Blackburn Smith.
She was an inspector for the old M. Fine Co. in New Albany and a member of Corydon Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Curts, and a daughter, Daisy Lutz.
Survivors include two daughters, Jo Ann Bradshaw of Columbus and Pauline Spurlock of Corydon; two brothers, Claude and Woodrow Smith, both of Corydon; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Wednesday, Aug. 1, at the Corydon Church of the Nazarene with burial in Heidelberg Cemetery. Pastor Mike Clark officiated. Cheryl Newton was organist. Norman Bradshaw was vocalist. Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon handled the arrangements.
Pallbearers were Wes and Jeff Bradshaw, Mark and David Spurlock, and Alan, Mike and Nathan Lutz.
The family suggests memorial gifts to her church or to Vista Home Care in care of Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home.
