Howard Wilson

Howard (Chub) Wilson, 79, Paoli, formerly of Greenville, died at 7:10 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, at Paoli Health Center.
A native of Paoli, born Sept. 8, 1921, he was the son of the late Harry and Florence Henderson Wilson.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Greenville Masonic Lodge 416, Greenville Christian Church, Hobart Beach VFW Post 1693, American Legion 28 in New Albany, Greenville Eastern Star 596 and Evansville Scottish Rite. He was also a retired truck driver for the old Armour Foods in Louisville and a member of Local 89.
Survivors include a son, Brett Wilson of Corydon; three daughters, Vicky Gibson of Greenville, Debi Strubler of Corydon and Shawn Huffman of Lanesville; a brother, Bill Wilson of Paoli; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The funeral was Saturday, July 28, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra with burial in Old Union Cemetery near Orleans. Love Funeral Home in Palmyra handled the arrangements.
